TINY DANCER
THE BASICS[/u]
Registered Name: Tiny Dancer
Register Number: #1566
Barn Name: Dancer
Age: Weanling [2012]
Gender: Filly
Height: 16.1hh
Breed: Thoroughbred
Colour: Dark Bay
Personality: Dancer is a lively and highly strung filly. She can be a little tempramental from time to time, just as her sire was in his racing days. When being handled she's rather ignorant and really doesn't take any notice of what her handler is asking her and is more interested in what is going on around her. Because of this reason she is constantly on top of her handler and regularly stands on their feet. She means nothing by it, she is just away in her own little world. The one thing she does actually like and that makes her relaxed and quiet, is being groomed. She could stand all day tied up being pampered and would never bat an eye lid, she is like a completely different horse. With other horses she is fairly high up in the pecking order. She takes no stick from anyone and doesn't think twice before fighting back. She stands her ground and struts around like queen bee. She does what she likes and expects others to follow. She has a serious passion for running. Even in the field when she is galloping around with the other horses she always has to be in the lead, if someone attempts to challenge her then they'll be faced with the wrath of Dancer. She'll throw a quick snap in their direction and then will speed up just to secure her place as top dog. Under saddle she is fairly similar. She hates being challenged by other horses. She is a quick breaker and leads from the front every time she runs. She will give her everything just to lead the pack. She is obedient to her jockey until someone tries so challenge her. Then she gets stronger and moody. However, some respect does remain and she will eventually, with a little encouragement, do as she is asked. Dancer and her jockey, Indey, make a great team. At times they can be just as stubborn as each other and I think that is what makes then a ferocious and fighting pair.

Brood Book: Closed
Pedigree Comments: At a quick glance, or to someone who does not really know Oak Hill horses then Dancer's pedigree may not look the best. However, when examined closely or by someone who knows the horses well, it actually isn't something to gloss over. Prancing In The Darkness may not be the most well known race horse, however he was Oak Hill's first ever grade one and will always be remembered for that. He was a spirited and passionate racer, just as Dancer is. He did not win many major races, however he always had the heart it required. He has deffinately proven his producing abilities when he sired the unforgettable Dare To Dream! Dream truely was a god send for Oak Hill Farm, she was their first ever true champion. Winning major races and being inducted into the Hall of Fame where she will remain infamous for all to see. If Dancer adopts even half the talent her half sister had then she will surely be a champion. Prancer also has one other foal, Fly By Darkness owned by SOPPS, so I'm sure we'll see some sibling rivalery the the track there! Kiss The True Heart, Dancer's dam, is nothing to be frowned upon either. She never made it to grade one but was always a strong grade two competitor. She finished her racing career with a great record, despite a slow start. Kiss' sire is no other than Hall of Famer, True Enough. This fine stallion needs no introduction. He was always a fierce competitor in any race he was entered in and more often than not came out on top. We can only hope that his tremendous talent is passed down in his blood.

RACING
Racing Style: Dancer is a fierce and passionate race horse! She breaks quickly from the gates, as though she is always that milisecond ahead of the rest of the field. You can see her brain ticking away, as though she is thinking all the time about her next move. She leads the pack from the front at all times. She will fight for the lead and does not tire or retreat until she is leading the pack. She will lead through out the race, from the start to the end. In the closing stages of the race, Dancer really kicks it up a gear and pulls away from the pack giving it her all. Hopefully, securing a win.
