OLD SPICE RIDDEN BY ROSIE WILSON

Jaymee led the tall chestnut colt out of his stall and outside onto the yard, this would be the first time her, or anyone had rode him sice he got to Oak Hill. She heard the car coming up the drive, but didn't wait for Millie, she would come to the track later anyway. Jaymee continued to lead the colt onto the track.
Well this is Oak Hill. Said Millie as she got out of the car. Rosie didn't say anything, but continued walking behind Millie. The two walked around to the track, to see some of the horses in action. However when they got there, there was only Jaymee and Old Spice. Millie aproached Jaymee just before she mounted. Urm, I think I'm going to let Rosie test out Oz. Jaymee's jaw dropped. But, but... You said that I could be Oz's jockey! Jaymee unwillingly handed over the reins to Rosie.
Rosie mounted the colt uneasily and took up the reins. Warm him up and then do a gentle six furlong run. Rosie nodded and then pushed Oz on into a walk. Jaymee slouched down and leant on the rail, glaring at Rosie. Oz responded nicely, he was a bit energetic, but nothing bad. Rosie completed a whole circuit of the track in a walk, giving Oz a good long time to warm up. By this time Rosie felt a bit more confident, and just before they reached Millie and Jaymee she pushed Oz forward with a nuge. He imediatly went into a forward going trot and Rosie posted in time to his beats. He had a graceful and comfy trot. Rosie pushed him quicker into a canter, he worked nicely around the track. So Rosie pushed him into gallop. Oz silently completed a lap of the track in gallop. Now Rosie was going to complete his six fulong run. The came around to the track entrance, that is where they would begin. Rosie pushed Oz on into a good solid gallop, that he could keep. Soon they had run half of the workout without no fuss. Oz shook his head and started to play with the bit, but Rosie soon got him running without fuss again. Millie was stood at the edge of the track and she was pretty impressed with what she saw. Rosie pushed Oz on as they came to the five furlong mark. He stretched his neck forwards and his hooves tore through the track soon making his way rappidly past the six furlong mark. Rosie brought him to a gradual walk, by that time they were back around where the spectators were stood. Rosie hopped off and nervously walked over to Millie leading Oz over too. Well done, that was great. Your in! If you want? Rosie smiled broadly, Yes, yes!
Great then, your first job is getting him to the top. Millie pointed over to Oz. Yes, really?! Rosie was over joyed. She led Oz back to his stall to care for him.[/blockquote]
