Shaux neiged as I appropached her with the grooming kit. She was tied up outside the horse box, watching the other horses prance past, and ocasionally neighing to one of them.
I placed the grooming kit next to her one the floor and picked out a ruber curry comb, then I began to rub it around in circles. Next I picked up a flicking brush and began to flick off all of the coat I had just rubbed up. Then I picked up th body brush. I brushed all of her coat, smoothing it down, and getting rid of all of the stroke marks. Then I picked up the face brush and brushed down her face gently.
Shaux's mane and tail had been washed the night before so it was silky and soft. I picked up a comb and and began brushing through her mane, when the knots and tangles had all been brushed out I began on her tail.
When I had finished on her tail I brushed the mud off Shaux's hooves and then painted them in hoove oil. Finally I picked the mud out of her hooves, minding the frog.
Then I was done. Shaux looked great!
