Personality: Maddie has a bit of a split personality. She is the typical thoroughbred when she is being handled, always has been, and probably always will be. She is a highly strung, rude, bad tempered filly. Though when she is being ridden, at times you wouldn't know she was a thoroughbred. She is quiet under the saddle, willing and happy to do as you ask of her, but naturally at times she can hyper and unpredictable. Maddie loves to be the center of attention. She pretty much always gets her own way and has a tantrum if she doesn't. Maddie is the leader when she is out in the field, and she can always be seen galloping at the front of the herd. Around humans she is always craving attention. She will do anything, from neighing, to pushing you in a puddle. She will do it. So really she is an attention seeker, and will do anything to get it.

Millie, I love Maddie and how much love you have for the King filly. She is doing great and looks like she could eventually follow her sire into the GHF Hall of Fame. ~Kirsten Jade
Dream really kicked butt today! She broke from the gates quick and clean and ran a really good race, just getting a nose over Santana and a half length over Ario. You're doing an excellent job with her. =D ~Snowflake
It was waaaay too close between Dream and Striking. They have the same preferences. Dream had more works, Striking more current ones. Dream had more experience, and both have the same UR experience. In the end, I'm forced to make a dead heat....they just seem equal to me. ~Sunfrost

Once Upon A Dream stands out in her own right. And I'll be the first to say not because she is a Merry Bay King daughter. I actually forgot... She just doesn't seem like him to me (I don't know what it is) but her own qualities redeem her to the fullest. I expect her to be amazing once she reaches three and can compete in the more intense races (BC Classic). El Sol Del is not better than her, but in this race I felt she deserved it more. I figured that you should know that Once Upon A Dream was top two before I even checked stats and then stats confirmed it.~Middy
Maddie is a beautiful filly and deserved to place. You have been working with her a lot lately. Which is good because any daughter by Merry Bay King deserves the attention. I would like to know more about her personality though. Just a hint.
