Personality: Jax is full of energy and is a lively young colt. He can also be rather highly strung. He is always competitive and doesn't like to lose so he will always fight to do his best no matter what. It is this fierce competitive spirit that really sets Jax apart...Winning is what he fights for...right from the gate to the wire. Giving up is one thing that Jax doesn't easily do and he's smart enough to know if somebody is doing better then him. It takes a strong hand to ride this colt because as soon as he sees a horse taking the lead his liveliness turns into a fierce determination. Jax breaks hard, but then will watch from the back field all the while...his competitive spirit begins to simmer, till the final furlong he turns on the heat and charges for the win. This energy that builds throughout the entire race is a strong force to be reckoned with and he holds nothing back. Off the track he is a straight up colt. Lively and pushy, he will try to take full-advantage of his handlers and push the limits. Millie has seen to it for herself that Jax rests in the expert hands of Josh Ville. In Josh's capable hands and with Millie's oversight...great things are expected. Channeling his robust energy to racing is going to make Jax a horse to remember.

Pedigree Comments: Bred from amazing Grade 1 racehorses, Jazzman and Livin' the Dream, everyone has high hopes for Jax. His dam always placed in the top three when she entered a race, always giving her completely best and never looking back. The same can be said for Jazzman basically, he did miss coming into the top three a couple of times and didn't always win but he was great enough to place third or second most of the time. Jax has Sunburst's amazing fighting skills to keep him from giving up so easily and Jazz's competitiveness.
