Oak Hill Farm have taken the hard decision to retire homebred beauty, No Reservations. After a long season of performing poorly it was decided to get him checked over by farrier, dentist and vet. He was quickly given the all clear by both farrier and dentist. But bad news was just around the corner. When checked over by the vet he was initially checked off as okay! But due to further inspection alot of tension was found in his back. After scans and further procedures it was announced that the stallion was unfit to race any longer. Oak Hill are still awaiting the news for a definate diagnosis of what is actually wrong, but it is thought that the stallion is a sufferer of kissing spine. If this proves to be true then it will deffinately be the end of this fine animal's racing career, for his own good. Oak Hill will conintue to own and board Rebel as they have promised him a home for life. They have also announced that next breeding season he will be a new addition to their wonderful string of studs and the track at Green Horse Fields will surely be graced with the presence of his offspring in the up and coming years!
