Personality: Starlite is an absolute gentleman to handle and be around. He has manners to burn. Without a doubt he is the most gentle and laid back youngster Jaymee has ever had the delight to handle at Oak Hill. In his stall he is fairly quiet. He likes to look out at the surroundings and really looks as though he is just in a little world of his own. Whenever someone is doing something around his stable he will always be watching them and will give always send a little whinny your way. He is calm to turn out, although he looks as though he could bomb off at any minute, with his pricked ears and prancing feet, but he would never think of such a thing. He waits patiently as you shut the gate, even if the others are all galloping around behind him. But the moment you unclip that lead rope, thats it. He's off. He has speed like no other youngster Jaymee has ever seen! His legs can not be described than anything other than a flashing blur of colour. When under saddle, we see more of Star's spirit and his racing spirit shines through. He becomes giddy and excitable. He is always go, go, go! Star has no patience for warming up and walking around, he is always wanting to go everywhere at 100mph. He really did inherit the racing bug from both parents. He has the speed of a sprinter from Asus, but also inherited the talent of stamina from Dream, as he manages so run 6-9 furlongs and great speed. Also Oak Hill is very lucky with this boy as his talent just gets better and better as it seems as though he favours both surfaces just as his parents before him did!

Pedigree Comments: Starlite has such a wonderful pedigree! His sire, Pegasus Wings, was inducted into the Hall Of Fame after comleting six successful years of racing! In his time of racing both at the Green Horse Fields and The Wire tracks he won numerous awards such as: Encouragement Awards in years 7, 8, 9 and 10, Y10 Best Sprinter, Y11 August Horse Of The Month and Y11 Best Sprinter and Older Horse. Asus also won many big and important races such as: Alzea Cup, Eagle Cup, Star Festival, Breeders Cup Sprint, Unicorn Horn Sprint, Breeders Cup Turf Sprint and The Wire Finish Cup Sprint. He also managed an amazing achievement of never placing out of the top three! Showing his raw talent, enthusiasm and passion; which will surely be passed on to his foals, including Starlite. A horse even half as successful as Asus would surely still be considered amazing? However, Starlite's dam Once Upon A Dream should never be over looked! An amzing mare in her own right! Winning Best 2YO Filly in Y6 and Best 3YO Filly in Y7! Once Upon A Dream is a also a carrier of none other than Merry Bay King blood! An outstanding stallion both as a race horse and as a producer of excellent racing foals. Once Upon A Dream is possibly Oak Hill Farm's best ever racehorse and she will deffinately pass this skill onto her offspring. Starlite has all the blood needed to have a successful racing career, with the likes of Pegasus Wings, Royal Red Richard, Forbidden Wings, Once Upon A Dream, Livin' The Dream and last but not least Merry Bay King!

RACING
Racing Style: Star breaks amazingly quickly from the gates and has done since the first day he tried them. His talent for conquering the gates means he is able to grab the front spot in the pack each time out. He favours this position as it allows him to get out and ignore the others, he can just focus on running his little heart out. Star is just speed, speed, speed. However, don't underestimate him by thinking he won't be able to last the distance, because he can!
