AND
STRIKING DARNESS RIDDEN BY MILLIE DAVEYS
Uno was a quiet, sweet colt; he stepped out onto the track quietly and attentively. King followed briskly behind him, a little friskier and energetic. Both horses had had good seasons so far; Uno had gained a show in his one and only race this year, and King had grabbed second place in his first race and then managed a superb win in the Unicorn Horn Series! Millie was more than pleased with how he had started his year out, he was doing better than she had ever guessed. Similarly, Jaymee was very pleased with Uno, he had never really been very heavily raced before, but this year she planned to really get him out on to the track.
King swiftly made his way infront of Uno. Uno's ears flickered as he over took him. Uno was quietly competetive. Both riders urged their horses forward into an active trot. Uno looked stunning and King deffinately looked the part of a racehorse. He was figity and fought against Millie momentarily as he pulled forward on the bit. Uno, on the other hand, was a little quieter. He was forward going but more obedient and respectful, him and Jaymee had a good bond and he did exactly what she asked him immediately. The pair of horses quickly made their way along two furlongs of the track. They were both keen and ready to go. Uno was glad to be out racing again and King was just loving the new experience and was really getting into it.
