Eddy Stone arrives at Oak Hill.
The young man made his way along the drive way which led to the barns, yard and houses. Today was his introduction day at Oak Hill and up until now he had only spoken to Millie over the phone and by email. He walked slowly, taking in the surroundings and pausing to watch some of the horses play in the fields which ran next to the drive way. Eddy, who was usually confident, felt a little nervous for the first time in a while. He wasn't really sure what to expect, he had researched the yard and team on the internet and seen them a races before, but apart from that he knew little more. As he approached the yard noone seemed to be around. Eddy made his way further into the yard, and as he did so he heard a loud crash coming from one of the barns. He rushed in and noticed a girl stumbling back and a pile of pitch forks fallen on the floor. Eddy laughed quietly and as he did so Indey turned around briskly, looking a little embarrassed. She moved away from the forks and turned her attention to Eddy, looking a little confused. Erm, can I help you? Indey questioned the man, running through her brain who it might be. Ahh the new boy? She exclaimed. Pausing for a second Eddy replied, Erm, well, yeah I guess. Indey nodded, remembering that Millie had told her that he would be coming today, Well, Millie isn't here today. So, I'll show you around, if you like? Eddy smiled, Yeah that would be great please!
